PolitifactOhio keeps doing its thing. Tries to sort out facts but no one sorts out Polifact's sources.
PolitifactOhio and other Politifact newspapers rate politicians and certain articles about the truth behind the stories but no one rates their sources of information.
We continue to challenge PolitifactOhio fact finding.
I write alot about politifact on my blogs and want to stop doing it
because no matter what I say or do I know I feed the beast. ( Search under -
tapsearch politifact - for all my articles.)
Politifact continues to warp the news because it puts a veneer over the
essential problems of our times with pieces of truth. Politifact
distorts and warps the essence of many issues. We do not have yellow
journalism today but one that cuts out the untold stories of our times.
I could forward a long list of untold stories behind the news ready to be politifacts but know not much good would come from it. The major news channels ignore what when where and how.
The politifact about Glen Beck has plenty pieces of truth and facts rating of
"pants on fire" but again it misses the point. ( "pants on fire" rating is one where the person or article is rated a lie.) Glen Beck is trying to capture am ideal and make it a practical exercise. As I have found out, it is a very difficult thing to do and one can only find certain objects to grasp. I do not know how much Glen Beck will accomplish because he does jump over many parts of an issue just like politifact does. However, he is trying do something new and convert ideals into realities.
PolitifactOhio goes deep into what Glen Beck reports about a town in Ohio where many jobs were lost and how private groups and organizations are trying to restore the town themselves. Beck does exaggerate the situation in order to point out that government is not the only answer and most likely the worst answer for restoring our economy. It was government that caused the problems and let the free enterprise system be pillaged by the so called free market. Our economic crisis was caused by big government acting as a broker and dealer with the money changers using free trade and globalization as a money game. ( Glen Beck neglects to get into these issues too.)
With a population of 12000 ...Wilmington, Ohio lost 9500 jobs were when DHL pulled out ...
Of course, Wilmington Ohio is getting a great deal of government help.
Many of the working poor, underemployed and unemployed have no other
choices left. However, Beck points out that this may be a useless effort
to resolve the deep needs of our times. I am waiting for politifact to
rate some facts that are left out of the news especially the fact that
only about 38 percent of all workers qualify for unemployment and that
about 70 percent of all workers pay more in payroll taxes then they do
in income taxes with both taxes used in the general fund as a common
tax. At the same time, the unemployment reports are fiction and no one in the news challenges the unemployment data. If you want to talk about what is "pants on fire", polilifacts the unemployment figures. The real world of streets says it all about our massive unemployment.
Politifact interprets and sorts out pieces of facts and truths and misses the essence of the real story. About half of all human resources in the USA is not being used.
( I fed the Politifact monster again here just my mentioning them again. I call it feeding the monster that sells the news instead of reporting the real essence of a story. ) I want to stop doing it but Newspapers have to stop putting masks over masks etc and tell the objective news. If this is an impossible task, they should at least pursue the perspective of what is the truth and not put masks over masks.
