The World's News - The hard facts about the the global economic arena

Free Trade is not trade. It is primarily about moving production from place to place anywhere in the world for the sake of cheaper labor. The value of workers and labor has been degraded and deflated. This represents trillions of dollars lost in the process

When all are free traders who can you vote for

When all political candidates are Globalist Free Traders, who is left to vote for

The causes and effects behind our economic and financial crisis are ignored but history will ultimately tell the story

Who do you vote for if all the candidates for political office are globalist free traders. They debate how to create new jobs , but do not talk about balanced real world trade. Free trade is not trade as historically defined and practiced. No one confronts the free trade issue directly as the cause behind our economic crisis. There was insourcing and outsourcing of jobs a few times in history, but the process was not called free trade. In Rome , they did outsource and insource cheap labor to the point where the Romans lost their skills in making things. In reviewing history, I do not recall ever reading about the moving of production from place to place anywhere in the world being called free trade or trade.

History will show that free trade was the major cause of our economic crisis and as in Rome all the funny money and monopoly money games have been played out.

Our globalist free trader President Obama talks about buying products made in the USA but I doubt if anything done here represents and end product that is totally made in the USA. The news media uses the terms Built in America and Assembled in the USA but no longer use the term Made in the USA in describing many products. Most likely even the traditional branded American automobiles like Buick, Ford, Chevorlet or Chrysler are composed of parts coming from the sweatshops of the world. I even read where a U.S. manufacturer sends parts made in the USA to places like Guatemala to be machined. Last I read, the traditional GM brands can be described as about 80 percent made in the USA. Ford is about 60 percent and Chrysler is below that. The same applys to many products and most likely parts go back and forth between Mexico and the USA for many reasons. The "dirty" part of manufacturing is most likely performed in Mexico to escape all the environment regulations.

Federal Reserve Chairman used a different term when he told Congress that the best economic stimulus was to buy " Domestically produced goods" The term "Domestically" can mean alot of things. We do know that all the money spent at the retail level quickly fans out to the places where the products are made and the money does not stay here to recycle our economy .

In our state, we have candidates for the governor's job and for the U.S. Senate. They go after each other about who lost all the jobs but the time is limited to just the past few years while the core of our economic crisis centers around the Clinton era. President Clinton and a Democrat controlled Congress joined with the Republicans consumating the free trade programs designed by the elder President Bush. Even Rush Limbaugh who was at the height of his powerful influence, pushed both NAFTA and GATT trade agreements radically. Senator Dole said it seems like his whole state was against it but voted for both no matter what. He became the next Republic presidential candidate.

Believe it or not, President Clinton came to our state to promote the Democrat candidates and with a straight face told everyone about who was better at saving jobs. President Clinton proclaimed prosperity while millions were losing their jobs during the most massive dislocation of jobs in U.S. history.

Later the baton was passed to the President Bush the 2nd and now to President Obama who bailed out the money changers who were responsible for the economic crisis and financial collapse and then he put them back in charge again to continue the failed policies of globalist free traders.

The core of our economic storms
Who can restore the American Dream when all our leaders are globalist free traders. It is all about duplicating success and not making a stew out of it
