The Mutations of Truth
We have challenged PolitifactOhio for many of its fact finding not only about many of the conclusions they reach but also because of the way they ignore essential data that affects the process. Their truth meter is of no use if they ignore the missing causes and effects.
This time around they cover the number of state workers being lower in the present time. When so many are employed, on pension or doing both by double-dipping, a thousand less. The fact finding does not plug in how many more or less are on a early pension or double-dipping ( collecting a pension and get another job with the state or local governments. You would think that this would be a factor in measuring public employment especially if you compare the difference of how many in the private sector get to enjoy a pension.
However, with the inference being that less state workers means less overhead for society in general then the data should compare how many government workers there are compared to the private sector in previous years.
The largest top employers in Ohio are the Federal Government, State Government, Local Government and the Boards of Education. Most likely the medical industry comes next. All these pursuits require the support of private sector workers who pay the taxes to support all these government and related industry workers.
It is sad that in times like this , the truth is still being mutated by those in control and the media with workers having no say in the process of globalization and free trade which are the real causes behing our economic crisis.

Americans were moved to view Bush's "shock and awe" wars by the powers in place and the media while our economic crisis was unfolding.
