The World's News - Follow Ray Tapajna in his journey in the Global Economic Arena

Free Trade is not trade. It is primarily about moving production from place to place anywhere in the world for the sake of cheaper labor. The value of workers and labor has been degraded and deflated. This represents trillions of dollars lost in the process

War in a new world of barbarianism

The protocols for going to war have changed dramatically in recent times. When I grew up and as an Army Officer, the only power a U.S President had to attack another nation was in the case of self-defense usually prompted by some sudden attack. President Bush did not use the power of "Hot Pursuit" to seek out those responsible for 9/11. Instead he started a pre-emtive war with Iraq who had nothing to do with 9/11.

Now, President Obama, who by the way is a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, attacks another nation without just provocation while talking like a sophist picking and choosing certain details to fit his intervention in Libya.

In enforcing a no fly zone, there are no lines of demarcation or lines of departure that separate the innocent civilians from military and armed assaults by the rebels. And the news media does not even report anything about this.

Who can untangle the terror that free trade and globalization have bred

The drew the Cross of 9/11 as a symbol of terrorism in the globalist free trade world where a new kind of colonialism has taken over. Nations have their economies and interests spread across the globe and now have to use force to protect their interests. Everything is entangled for the sake of the global economy. President Obama came and bailed out the globalist free traders big money people that caused the problems and put them back in charge again.
The need for the bail out should have been part of all economic indicators that free trade has failed.

President Clinton attacked Serbia in the Balkans. He claimed he was doing it to stop ethnic cleansing but caused more to happen in return as 750,000 Serbians and Gypsies fled Bosnia and Croatia in total fear. President Clinton used the Social Security to fund this war.

Many Serbians refugees fled to Kosovo and were attacked there. Serbian has a just claim to Kosovo but it was turned over to the Albanians where Serbians are still be killed just because they are Serbians.

President Clinton also bombed civilians in Belgrade and even the Chinese embassy was bombed in the process.

We need to keep this all in mind when we want to attach the causes of war to only one political party.
