The World's News - The hard facts about the the global economic arena

Free Trade is not trade. It is primarily about moving production from place to place anywhere in the world for the sake of cheaper labor. The value of workers and labor has been degraded and deflated. This represents trillions of dollars lost in the process

Less we forget - free trade is the core and cause behind our economic crisis. And it was ..........

Clinton Years American Dream Reversed

President Clinton and a Democrat controlled congress passed the NAFTA, GATT free trade agreements that established it as a policy that now has a history of more than 18 years of failures.

We did this illustration more than ten years ago. It now our most popular artwork with millions of results and references online worldwide. It is symbolic of a time when our political leaders and the news media betrayed American workers and worker everywhere in the world.

Why would a nation like the United States choose to a destroy a massive value in the world that helped restore nations after World War 2 in Europe and Asia. Trillions of dollars were lost in the process and really nothing replaced it.
The trade deficit has broken records for more than 15 years as our economies based on making money on money instead of making things are burning out.
The creative money products did not work. It is obvious that the value of workers and labor are a real asset and even a better money standard than paper money that needs all kinds of manipulations to grow value.

President Obama chose to bail out the money changers and put them back in charge. He never considered doing it from the bottom up while millions of workers not only lost their jobs but everything else it took a lifetime to gather.

Free trade is not trade. It is primarily about moving production from place to place anywhere in the world for the sake of cheaper labor. The real commodities being traded are human beings as workers. Free trade evolved since 1956 after the U.S. Federal Government sponsored a program to move factories outside of the USA. This evolved in to the maquiladora factory program in Mexico. By 1992, more than 2,000 U.S. factories were moved to Mexico. After NAFTA was passed in 1993-94, the number of factories moved quickly doubled to more than 4,000 factories being moved to Mexico alone.

The elder President Bush put the plan together and President Clinton followed and passed them. President Bush the 2nd and President Obama followed in President Clinton's footsteps.

Less we forget, we need to keep reminding everyone what happened and who were involved. Many of the conservatives who are now pushing for cost cutting played a large part in the beginning and ignore the issue while they do everything to cut costs. No matter how much is cut, nothing will work until they admit what they did was wrong and do everything possible to restore local value added economies in the most local setting as possible - not only in the USA but across the globe. What good is the Peace Corp or United Nations humanitarian services, if people do not have ways to make a living wage where they reside.

The Clinton Years American Dream Reversed artwork is certified as international artmoney. This is a very interesting concept and all artists should look into this as another way to grow economies. Some states in the USA are considering printing their own money just like the Federal Reserve Bank does. Others are looking into different ways to grow local economies. This is the future as more and more people seek ways to survive.
